ABOUT THE DESIGN:
On the front, are two angels. The angels are protectors, that were supposed to look over the wearer and bring him/her luck. These particular Angels are holding ropes. This design was a male tattoo, worn around the same area as on the hoodie, maybe a bit lower. U can guess what the ropes lead to on a man if the tattoo is positioned correctly. This tattoo was usually accompanied by slogans like "C'mon ladies, dont be scared" or "Get 'em up Girls" or "Get up my friend, we got a job to do" among many others.

On the back is the Russian icon of the Holy Mother. An "Obereg" tattoo, meaning "Protector". "Save me Mother from my Sins" or "Keep watch over your son". Also it can be looked at as the Holy Mother is the prison system holding the wearer. It also could mean "On my own since birth". Mostly it had no religious significance to the owner.
