ABOUT THE DESIGN:
This is an anti-authority tattoo that takes from the original Soviet Union coat of arms or "gerb". This tattoo was popular during the 50's and 60's.

On the sleeves are two cat tattoos which can symbolize luck for a person that needs luck in his/her line of work. There are many different meanings for cat tattoos.

Each shirt also has the "MIR" logo printed on the back or the sleeve. "MIR" is the Russian word for "peace", but in the criminal world it's an acronym that stands for "Menya Ispravit Rastrel" which translates roughly to "Execution will Reform Me".
