ABOUT THE DESIGN:
On the back is an anti-authority tattoo that takes from the original Soviet Union coat of arms or "gerb". This tattoo was popular during the 50's and 60's.

The spider and web are tattooed in many cultures. In Russian criminal societies it has various meanings. It could mean that the wearer was caught up in the life that he/she chose. If the spider was moving up the web, it meant that he/she was leaving the life, if it was going down then he was planning to stick around for a while. The spider and web can also signify a connection to the drug world or addiction.

On the chest is a typical "Oskal" tattoo, a baring of teeth at the authorities.

The fly on the hood is a nod to a Russian fairy tale character Muxa Tsikatuha. A fly tattoo usually represented a pickpocket but could also be for good luck, like the scarab or beetle tattoo. The spade suit is a trumps suit and is respected among the thieves.

Each hoodie also has the "MIR"logo printed on the front pocket or the side of the hood. "MIR" is the Russian word for "peace", but in the criminal world it's an acronym that stands for "Menya Ispravit Rastrel" which translates roughly to "Execution will Reform Me".
